The Antipsychiatry movement is a form of mental health activism emerged out of abusive experiences people have had within the psychiatric ecosystem. A subsequent lack of social support and denial of justice against such experiences have led people to question the very fundamental assumptions psychiatry is based upon as well as its place in medical science.
